Dog Policy
Whilst we welcome upto 2 well-behaved dogs to each of our properties, we expect dog owners to adhere to our requirements, which are set out below.
GARDEN AND OUTSIDE SPACE
The garden is shared with the other cottage and the main house and is not secure from the road, so dogs need to be kept on a lead whilst in the garden. The cottage car park and patio area is also open to the other cottage, although there is a gate to prevent dogs from escaping onto the road. This may not, however, prevent very small dogs (or those that can jump) from escaping, so it is upto the dog owner to take responsibility for their pet.
RULES FOR DOG OWNERS
- The intention to bring dogs must be disclosed at the time of booking.
2. Pets must be kept off all furniture at all times and are not permitted in the bedrooms.
3. Dogs are not allowed to be left unattended in the cottage at any time.
4. It is the dog owner’s responsibility to ensure that their pets are controlled at all times whilst at West Close Farmhouse Cottages and are kept on a lead when outside the property, and that all mess is cleared up and disposed of straight away,
5. If there is any damage to fixtures and fittings or we have to clean up after your pets either inside or outside the property, the dog owners will be responsible for the additional costs incurred.
